I was looking for a quality sauce pan with a glass lid as I like to see what I'm cooking. After exhaustive research came upon this line and I am very pleased. Extremely durable, quality construction. Only (-) is that I wish it would have come with some sort of steam vent so that it does not fog up while cooking...

A saucepan, one of the workhorses of the kitchen, is used for everything from cooking sauces or rice to re-heating soup or chili. The pan's made double full cap base of aluminum and copper is perfect for its even heat distribution, giving you even heating throughout the pan. Durable stainless steel with full cap impact-bonded base on stovetop pieces for even heat distribution. Contemporary handles are oven safe to 350?F. Glass lids with extra wide reinforced rim. Suitable for induction stovetops.Probably the most widely used pan in the kitchen, the two-quart saucepan is ideal for heating soup, cooking oatmeal, and steaming vegetables.
