Customer Review: Worst Tasting Coffee I Ever Made

I am totally frustrated by the good reviews of this percolator. I use filtered water, the best and freshest beans I can find. And, it's consistently bad tasting coffee with a nasty aftertaste. One reviewer said it keeps the coffee hot for hours. The coffee is very hot but you should unplug the pot immediately after it finishes brewing because it will keep cooking the coffee until the pot is bone dry. It does clean easily but you can't immerse it, of course. I have to shop for yet another coffee maker and I will avoid Faberware totally.
